Who you are dealing with
Chief Nest LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in the United States ("Chief Nest", "we"). These terms apply to your use of chiefnest.com and to our services. Where you have signed a service agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence wherever the two overlap.
What we do
Chief Nest places trained, supervised operators, our Chiefs, inside remote founder-led companies. We are not a recruiting firm or a staffing agency. You contract with Chief Nest, your Chief works inside your team day to day, and we stay responsible for the outcome. The scope, price and start date of any engagement are set out in your service agreement.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and, if you are acting for a company, authorised to bind it. Information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
Payment and cancellation
- Prices on the site are indicative starting points in US dollars and can change. What you actually pay is set out in your service agreement.
- Fees are billed as agreed in that document, normally monthly in advance.
- Either side may end an engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice unless your service agreement says otherwise.
- Every engagement includes a two-week free replacement of your Chief, for any reason, including fit.
What you may not do
- Copy, scrape, republish or sell our content, logo or brand assets without written permission.
- Use the site to send spam or malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it or the services behind it.
- Circumvent Chief Nest to engage directly with a Chief we introduced, for twelve (12) months after the introduction, unless we agree in writing.
Intellectual property
The Chief Nest name, the bird mark, the wordmark and everything on this site belong to Chief Nest or are used with permission. Work product your Chief creates for you during an engagement belongs to you once it is paid for, as set out in your service agreement. Client logos shown on the site belong to their owners and appear with their consent.
Third-party services
Booking a call goes through Calendly, and engagements run in tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp and the CRM of your choice. Those providers' own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
No warranties
The site and our services are provided as is. We do not promise the site will be available at all times or free of errors, and we do not guarantee particular business results, which depend on your company as much as on us.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Chief Nest is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to cover Chief Nest against third-party claims that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site or the services.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot settle between us will be resolved by binding arbitration in Delaware.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The dates at the top tell you when they took effect and when they last changed. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and your service agreement are the whole agreement between us.
