Client portals
Chief Nest builds client portals: one place where your clients find their documents, reports, timelines and next steps, instead of hunting through email. We run our own portal for every client and build them on the web or inside the tools your team already uses.
What goes in a client portal?
- Proposals, reports and documents, each with a downloadable PDF.
- Weekly updates and the current status of the work.
- Requests from the client, in one list instead of scattered emails.
- Deliverables and next steps, so nobody has to ask what happens next.
Web portal or a portal inside your tools?
Both work. A web portal is a branded page per client that you send as a link, which suits documents and reports. A portal inside a tool like ClickUp suits ongoing work, because the client sees tasks and updates as your team works. We run our own web portal and have set up ClickUp portals for clients, from a template we reuse.
How do you keep client pages private?
Client pages are private by design. They are kept out of search engines, shared only by direct link, and can sit behind a password or a link that you can switch off at any time.
Who updates it?
Whoever does the work. On a web portal we publish each document as it is ready. Inside your tools, your team’s normal updates show up for the client automatically.
